Michal Židlický

Michal was born on 3 October 1976.

He began training Aikido when he was seventeen under the guidance of Daniel Vaillant (6th Dan). After one year, he acquired his 1st Dan from Mr Vaillant. For almost five years, he was Mr Vaillant's deshi.

In February 1998, Michal trained for the first time under Waka Sensei Moriteru Ueshiba (from 1999 Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba). In August 1998, Michal founded the Asayake Aikido Dojo club.

At twenty-two, Michal visited Hombu Dojo in Tokyo where he goes every year to train and improve under the guidance of Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba.

Michal Židlický is a member of Hombu Dojo Tokyo, Aikikai Foundation with Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba acting as president.
